I always take a few months off from weddings in the winter to recharge and rest up for the following spring season. By the end of my “down time” I am itching to jump back into weddings and have a new zest for the love to come with my bride and grooms.
Jenna + Josh were what all photographers dream of and were the perfect start to my 2019 season. They are gorgeous, completely and utterly in love and willing to try new things for the sake of amazing pictures (even if it means sneaking away from your reception during dinner to catch some golden hour goodness).
She wanted a classic and elegant styled wedding that took place in one of my Favorite Nooga Venues, The Vineyard at Howe Farms. Her dad surprised her by renting the 1936 Buick out front to chafferer her and her groom around all day and she was absolutely stunning (Jenna + The Car).
While the majority of the wedding was very traditional, the couple opted for a intimate first look at The Chapel and Jenna even had a playlist playing to set the mood. I felt like I was watching a music video through my lens.
The Wedding party were the perfect mix of sweet and sassy. They were there to help Jenna and Josh but also added so much fun and excitement to their big day.
The ceremony was as sweet as this couple was. There was so much love in that giant room that it felt intimate and so personal. I think this is a hard task to achieve when you have a 200+ guest wedding but everyone loved this couple so much that it literally filled the room.
The reception was a buffet dinner with games and dancing, we sent the newlyweds off with sparklers as they drove off in that Buick I’m still day dreaming about.
Thank you so much for having NCP be a part of your big day. You got my creative juices flowing and set the bar HIGH for the rest of my 2019 couples. I cannot wait to see how you blossom as a couple and hope nothing but the absolute best for you both!
